God blessed everyone who had the opportunity to meet Uncle Glenn. He was as down-home and laid-back as it gets… and funny beyond belief. I’m so privileged to have known him and called him my uncle. I ran across a picture recently – dad, Uncle Glenn and Uncle Clayton were standing together at the Hansel farm, watching the sunset and talking. There in the picture is Uncle Glenn smoking a cigar that he’d fitted into his pipe. To me, that’s the epitamy of Uncle Glenn - he was an unpredictably delightful man with a spirit that found humor in the little things and who brought that humor to others. I never knew what he was going to say or do – but I waited in anticipation, ever appreciative of his quick/dry humor. He was truly one of a kind.
How lucky we are to hold him in our hearts and our memories. Love and hugs to all.
