Eva Anna Harvey
Eva A. Harvey, 102, Raytown, Mo., passed away January 16, 2010, in Maryville, Mo. Funeral services 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, at Missouri Funeral Care, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown. Visitation will be 12 to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Burial in Brooking Cemetery, Raytown. Eva was born March 15, 1907, in Kansas City, Mo. Eva worked for B.M.A. as a Mortgage Loan Examiner for 14 years. She was a life member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Raytown Chapter VFW #4242. She was treasurer for 26 years and president for two. She was a member of Conclave #24, Order of the True Kindred of Missouri. She was a Life member of the Ernestine Schumman- Heink Chapter #2, Kansas City Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary where she held the office of Commander for two years. Eva was a member of the Raytown Historical Society, and she volunteered one day a week at the Kansas City VA Hospital for 26 years. Eva is preceded in death by parents, William Benjamin and Anna Kinnamon; sisters, Ruth Pendleton and Willetta Van Osdell; and husband, Ira Harvey. She is survived by nieces, Annetta Herring, husband Don, Maryville, and Diane Bare, husband Larry, Broomfield, Colo.; several grandnieces and nephews and great- grandnieces and nephews.
