Wilma Teague
Wilma Nadine Teague, age 84, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Shirkey Leisure Acres in Richmond, Missouri.
Wilma was born September 28, 1925 in Hardin, Missouri, the daughter of Emmett and Lottie (Dove) Winfrey. She graduated from Carrollton High School.
She was married to Austin Hoy in Hale, Missouri, and to this union five children were born: Elaine, Ronnie, Jim, Twila and Gail.
On November 19, 1972 she married J. Roland Teague in Stoney Point, North Carolina. He preceded her in death.
Wilma had resided at various times in North Carolina, California and in Carrollton, Missouri. She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Wilma is survived by three of her children, Elaine Nolke and husband, Joe, Raytown, Missouri; Ronnie Hoy and wife, Lois, Independence, Missouri; Twila Wagner and husband, Gene, Lexington, Missouri; two brothers, Pat and Ray Winfrey; two sisters, Mary Arms and Sue Elliott; ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Her parents, sons Jim and Gail, a sister, Virginia Scott, a brother, Bud Winfrey, one niece and one nephew, also preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri. A private family burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, DeWitt, Missouri.
