Helen (Bullock) Thomas, 90, Overland Park, KS formally Independence, MO passed away June 19, 2010. Visitation will be held 10-11AM, Tuesday, June 22nd at Missouri Funeral Care, Raytown, MO. Funeral services will held following at 11AM at the funeral home. Burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Christian Family Services or Independence Church of Christ. Helen was born December 17, 1919 in Wakenda, MO. She was a member of the Independence Church of Christ since 1949. She worked at Ford Motor Company cafeteria and was manager of Government Employment Mart cafeteria, and cashier at the Avon cafeteria for many years. Preceded in death by; husband of 67 years, Clifford A Thomas; sisters, Annabelle Forsberg, Margaret Bullock; brother, Marvin Bullock. Survivors include; son & daughter in law, David & Linda Thomas, Overland Park, KS; grandchildren, Brent Thomas and wife Karen, and Cindy Franz and husband Mark; great grandchildren, Zachary Clifford & Kayleigh Thomas, Tara & Thomas Franz; sister, Doris Smart and husband Paul; and many nieces & nephews.
