Obituary
Harold Arthur Wright, 86, of Brunswick, MO and a former Hale, MO resident died on July 4, 2010 at the Brunswick Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held at the Missouri State Veteran’s Cemetery at Higginsville, MO, Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. Gail Brown Officiating. Visitation will be at the Gibson Funeral Home in Carrollton, MO, Thursday, from 12 noon – 1:00 P.M. Harold was born on January 11, 1924 at Miami Station, MO the son of Joseph and Edna Jennings Wright. He served his country during WWII as a member of the United States Army. Harold was married to Martha Emmeline Myrick on February 17, 1947. Martha preceded him in death on September 12, 2009. He and Martha co-owned and operated the Wright’s Grocery Store at Triplett, MO. He was a Christian and was a member of the Hale V.F.W. Post. He is survived by one son, Kenny Wright and his wife Rhonda of Triplett, MO; one daughter, Cheryl Zimny of Marshall, MO; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Jean Grace. Memorials may be made to: the Hale V.F.W.
