Denise Teresa Renk

Denise T. Renk, 71, of Palmyra, WI passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 at AngelsGrace Hospice Center in Oconomowoc with her loving family by her side.

Denise was born on April 19, 1948 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Harvey and Lorraine (Koelsch) Graf. She grew up in the Eagle area and graduated from Mukwonago High School. Denise married Robert “Bob” Renk on October 23, 1971 in Illinois. God blessed Bob and Denise’s marriage with two loving children. Denise had a few jobs throughout her working career but her main focus and concern was being a wife and mother. Denise had a fun and energetic personality. Her loving family says that she couldn’t go out in public without making a new friend. She was outgoing and people just enjoyed being around her. She knew how to have a good time and make others feel good. Denise was a talented cook and baker. She enjoyed preparing meals and her family and guests enjoyed eating them. One of Denise’s hobbies was making silk flower arrangements. This brought her joy and was relaxing for her. The most important thing is Denise’s life was her family. She was happiest when surrounded by those she loved. She will be dearly missed.

Denise is survived by: her loving husband of 47 years, Robert Renk; her daughter, Charity (Brian) Doyle; her son Heath (Anne Minett) Renk; her 4 grandchildren, Grace, Leif, Ava and Sawyer; and her 3 siblings, Sandra DeMaster, Kim (Mary) Graf, and Melodie (John) Haddon. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and 5 brothers.

A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00PM on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Eagle, WI (103 West Eagle Street, Eagle, WI 53119). Fr. Dennis Ackeret will officiate the service. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 5:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Denise will be laid to rest at 10:00AM on Friday, September 13, 2019 in Melendy’s Prairie Cemetery.
