Jesus "JD" Dakota Cardenas

Jesus D. “JD” Cardenas, 21 of Palmyra, WI died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 2, 2019.

JD was born on February 6, 1998 in Fort Atkinson, the son of Jesus and Maria (Espinoza) Cardenas.  He grew up in Palmyra and attended Palmyra-Eagle High School.  JD was an artist and was very passionate about photography and videography. He also enjoyed hanging out and spending time with friends. JD’s family was most important to him. He was happiest when surrounded by those he loved. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.

JD is survived by his parents, Jesus and Maria Cardenas; 3 siblings, Cheyenne, Rene and Julissa; his maternal grandparents, Daniel and Dora Espinoza; and his paternal grandmother, Paula Cardenas. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Tony C. Cardenas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00AM on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Palmyra with Fr. Mariadas Bekala presiding.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 9:00AM until the time of service at the church.
