Sherry A. Rosman, 75, of Palmyra, WI passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Sienna Crest in Fort Atkinson.
Sherry was born on October 15, 1943 in Fort Atkinson, the daughter of Leon and Hazel (Meracle) Hack. She spent her childhood years in Hebron, WI and Palmyra, WI. Sherry was united in marriage to Calvin Rosman, Jr. on June 8, 1963 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Palmyra. The Lord blessed their union with two lovely daughters, Tani and Michelle. For her career, she had a few jobs throughout her life but most recently worked as a bank teller for First Citizens Bank in Whitewater for 16 years. Sherry was a lady of many interests. She loved to be outside. Whether it was tending her flower garden, fishing or just going for a walk, she loved to be out enjoying God’s creation. She also enjoyed sewing and made quite a few quilts, as well as some clothing. Sherry had a love for music and played the organ at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Palmyra for over 35 years. Sherry and her husband also enjoyed traveling together and spent the last 10 winters in South Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and took excellent care of her family. She will be dearly missed.
Sherry is survived by: her loving husband of 55 years, Calvin; her 2 daughters, Tani (Jim) Damrow, and Michelle (Fiancé Mick Heath) Bondar; 7 grandchildren, Danielle (Sam) Nelsen, Kayla (Terry) Seely, Hayley Damrow, Taylor Bondar, Hannah Bondar, Cody Bondar, and Alleah Bondar; and 1 great-grandchild, Charlotte Nelsen. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Ken Hack.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Sienna Crest and the staff of Rainbow Hospice for the loving care they provided Sherry.
Memorials in Sherry’s honor may be made to Sienna Crest in Fort Atkinson, Rainbow Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association of Wisconsin.
A Memorial Service for Sherry will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, January 25, 2019 at St. Mary Help of Christians Parish in Sullivan, WI. Fr. Tom Coyle will officiate the service. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the time of service at the church.
