Virginia Evelyn Meyer

Virginia E. Meyer, 76 of East Troy, WI passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at East Troy Manor. 

Virginia was born on January 17, 1943 in Milwaukee the daughter of Elmer and Myrtle Wilson. She was united in marriage to George Meyer on June 30, 1962 in Milwaukee. God blessed their union with three children. They enjoyed over 30 years of marriage together until George passed in 1994. Virginia was a kind lady. One of her favorite hobbies was painting ceramics. She would create beautiful paintings and art on pottery and would give them to her friends and loved ones as gifts. She also enjoyed gardening. Virginia was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her family and will be dearly missed. 

She is survived by: her 3 loving children, Bill Meyer, Virginia MacKenzie (Charlie Zindars), and Tommy (Angie) Meyer; her 5 grandchildren, Nicole, Jessica, Cheyenne, Waylon, and Dylan; and 2 great-grandchildren, Carrick and Lila. She is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband George. 

A Graveside service will take place at 3:15PM on Friday, April 5, 2019 in Little Prairie Cemetery of East Troy, WI with the Rev. Ken Casey presiding. A Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00PM to 3:00PM at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Palmyra, WI.
