Vivian G. Moore

Vivian G. Moore, 84 of Palmyra, WI passed away peacefully on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Dycora Health Center in Fort Atkinson.

Vivian was born on April 27, 1935 in Beloit, WI the daughter of  Valdon and Marie (Brown) Tiffany. After graduating from high school she married Robert A. Moore and God blessed their union with 3 children. Vivian and Bob raised their 3 children together in Palmyra until God called Bob home at a young age. After Bob’s death, Vivian cared for her children on her own. She was a kind and loving mother. Vivian worked as a homemaker for many years and also worked on the Cold Spring Egg Farm. For leisure, she loved to bowl. She participated in the Palmyra Bowling League for over 40 years. Vivian’s faith was also very important to her and she was a very involved member of Palmyra United Methodist Church and the various activities there. She invested her time in the Hearts and Hands Quilters Club, the United Methodist Women’s Group, the adult bible study, and many turkey dinners and bazaars just to name a few. She saw the importance of helping and supporting her local church and gave much of her time to serve there. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by: her 3 loving children, Suezanne (James) Polzin, Robert (Sandra) Moore, and William Moore; her 4 grandchildren, Rebecca (Jens) Nestingen, Curtis (Sara) Polzin, Alicia Moore, and Robert Moore; and 3 great-grandchildren, Ivan and Claire Nestingen, and Graham Polzin.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Robert, and a precious granddaughter April Moore.

Memorials in Vivian’s honor may be made to the Palmyra United Methodist Church

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the Palmyra United Methodist Church with the Rev. Norman P. Bude presiding. Visitation will be held from 9:00AM until the time of service at the church.
