Barbara Schultz Obituary

Barbara A. Schultz, age 90, of Dousman, WI passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.

Barbara was born on May 19, 1933 in Milwaukee the daughter of John and Estelle (Goodman) Groff. She was raised in the Milwaukee area and after completing her schooling, worked for the majority of her career in the Banking Industry and also the Retail Industry. Barb worked for Marine Bank (later Chase Bank) of Eagle, WI for many years as a Teller and Manager and then also as a Manager at Kohl’s. She enjoyed working and interacting with customers and co-workers. On January 30, 1971, Barb was united in marriage to William Schultz in Waukegan, IL. She and William would go on to enjoy 52 years of marriage together. Barb was blessed with five children, LuAnne, Kenneth, Debbie, Donna, and Sandra and she loved them all dearly. She had a strong and feisty personality but was incredibly kind and loving as well. She enjoyed many different activities and had many interests during her life. She and Bill traveled together quite a bit, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting blankets for her family members, and she loved to shop. She also enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino. Barb was very involved in serving her local community as a member of the Eagle Lioness and she served as a Lioness for many years. She was always willing to serve in any capacity that the Lioness needed and that was very important to her. Barb was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother and she will be missed but forever remembered by those she leaves behind.

She is survived by: her loving husband, William Schultz of Dousman, WI; her daughter, LuAnne Cundiff of Beloit, WI, her daughter Debbie (Fred) Honeyager of Las Vegas, NV, her daughter Donna (Allen) Davies of Palmyra, WI, and  herdaughter Sandra (Bob) Moore of Delavan, WI. She is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and her two siblings, Nancy (the late Henry) Pavelchik, and James (Sharon) Groff. 

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, her loving son, Kenneth, her brother, John (the late Cathy), and her dear granddaughter, April.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Eagle, WI (499 Elkhorn Road, Eagle, WI 53119). Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
