Belinda Ann Curry, 60, of Palmyra, WI passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
Belinda was born on July 23, 1962 in Hales Corners, WI the daughter of Thomas and Maureen (Nichol) Stewart. She grew up in the Hales Corners area and graduated from Whitnall High School in 1980. Belinda met her future husband, Michael Curry in 1975 and the two would go on to date and eventually marry on October 29, 1992 in Eagle, WI. Belinda and Michael were blessed with two loving children, Michael “Mikey”, and Joey-Lynn. Belinda’s children were her pride and joy. She was a terrific mother and would later become a proud grandmother to her two beautiful grandsons, Brandon and Connor. Her family was the light of her life. Belinda was a very hard working and driven person. She started her working career in a deli near where she grew up and also worked as a babysitter before working as a Supervisor at Standard Process of Palmyra for more than 18 years. She loved her job and her co-workers very much. Belinda was kind and had a big heart. She was always willing to help a family member, friend or co-worker in need and put other’s needs before her own. For relaxation, she mostly enjoyed spending time with her family. Whether it was on a family outing to the Wisconsin State Fair, going for a walk, or just spending time at home watching a movie, she was happiest when spending time with those closest to her. Belinda also had a special connection to animals and dogs held a special place in her big heart. She will be greatly missed but forever remembered by those she leaves behind.
She is survived by: her loving husband, Michael Curry of Palmyra, WI; her loving daughter, Joey-Lynn Curry of East Troy, WI; her two dear grandsons, Brandon and Connor Curry; and her three sisters, Stephanie (Steven) Winze of MO, Kimberly (Michael) Jafuta of Milwaukee, WI, and Heather Stewart of Milwaukee, WI. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, her dear son, Michael Curry, her mother-in-law, Dorothy Foley, and her loving companions, Simba, Snowball and Molly.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Belinda’s honor may be made to her family.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00PM on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Palmyra, WI (320 W. Main St. Palmyra, WI 53156). Visitation will take place from 3:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
