BettyAnn Rauguth

BettyAnn Rauguth, 93, of Dousman, WI passed away on January 23, 2025 at her home.

Betty was born on July 28, 1931 in Milwaukee the daughter of John and Venice (Lund) Thompson. She grew up in the Milwaukee area and graduated from Pulaski High School. Betty was united in marriage to Joseph Seigimartin in 1949. Joseph would later pass away and in February of 1968, Betty married Milton Rauguth. God blessed Betty with four children, Scott, Brad, Joe and Heidi. Betty was a proud and loving mom and took excellent care of her family. She made sure to keep her home in order and those around her well fed with delicious meals. For leisure, Betty enjoyed photography, art and especially gardening. Betty was funny, capable, strong and resilient. She loved good custard, and will be remembered for her sense of humor and love for her family.  

She is survived by: her children, Scott (Mary) Rauguth of Sussex, WI, Brad Rauguth of Leesburg, IN, and Heidi (David) Thurow of Dousman, WI; her grandchildren, Vanessa Rauguth of Detroit, MI, Nathan Rauguth of Ann Arbor, MI, Ian Rauguth of Warsaw, IN, Megan (Teague) Stone of Waukesha, WI, and Brittany Thurow of Phoenix, AZ. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Joseph and Milton, her dear son, Joseph, and her dear grandson, Brandon. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Eagle, WI (499 Elkhorn Road, Eagle, WI 53119). Rev. Dr. Michael Nielsen of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church of North Prairie will officiate the service. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
