Carol L. Andreoni, 85, of East Troy, WI passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Aurora Summit Hospital in Oconomowoc, WI.
Carol was born on December 10, 1938, in Chicago, IL the daughter of Harold and Berenice (Clausen) Klatt. She grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and graduated from Wheaton Community High School in Wheaton, IL. Carol married Howard Andreoni on February 14, 1959, in DuPage County, IL and the Lord blessed their union with six children, Susan, Jeffrey, Lynn, John, Peter, and Sarah. Carol and Howard started their life together in Illinois and moved out to operate Camp Bennett, a Christian camp in Maryland, where they worked for many years. After moving to Wisconsin, Carol continued her ministry work at Camp Timber-lee of East Troy where she worked in administration for 20 years. She had a strong faith in Jesus and loved to share that with the children she served. For leisure, Carol enjoyed reading, knitting, gardening, and studying scripture. She even enjoyed playing video games with her grandchildren. Above all else in her earthly life was her love for family. She was a devoted wife, mom, and Nona to her grandchildren and Nona-Nona to her great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered by those she leaves behind.
She is survived by: her children, Susan (Keith) Stephens of Savannah, GA, Lynn Michelle (Chuck) Dorsey of Elkhorn, WI, John (Kirsten) Andreoni of Sun Prairie, WI, Peter (Sarah) Andreoni of Elkhorn, WI, and Sarah (William) Coulman of East Troy, WI; her grandchildren, Katrina (Rick), Brian (Paulina), Caroline (David), Rebecca (Eric), Elliot (Courtney), Kaitlyn, Andrew, Madelyn, Alex, Abigail, Lane, Samantha, Logan, Wyatt, Stella, Axel, and Mina; 17 great-grandchildren; and her two brothers, Richard (Gene) Klatt of Utah, and James (Dorothy) Klatt of Arizona. Carol is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Howard, her dear son in infancy, Jeffrey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carol’s honor may be made to the East Troy Bible Church for their Children’s Ministry.
A Funeral Service to celebrate God’s grace in Carol’s life will be held at 6:00PM on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the East Troy Bible Church in East Troy, WI. The Rev. Ron Christiansen will officiate the service. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 4:00PM until the time of service at the church. Carol will be laid to rest in Adams Cemetery in the Town of Troy on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 10:00AM.
