Carol L. Walsh

Carol L. Walsh, 77, of Mukwonago, WI passed away on November 7, 2023 at Frontida Assisted Living of Elkhorn, WI.

Carol was born on November 13, 1945 in Elkhorn, WI the daughter of Peter and Norma (DeGrave) Naber. She married Daniel Walsh in Mukwonago, WI on April 14, 1973 and the two were blessed with 50 years of marriage.

Survivors include: Her loving husband, Daniel; her sons, Greg (Paula) Lindholm of DeWitt, VA, Peter (Dorine) Lindholm of Mukwonago, WI; her granddaughter, Kaitlin Lindholm Colonial Heights, VA; and her brothers, Ed Naber of Vernon, WI, Jim (Kim) Naber of Eagle, WI. She is also survived by, her faithful canine companion, Ayreal, a multitude of cousins, and a number of nieces, nephews, siblings-in-law, and other relatives.

Carol lived in Mukwonago from a very early age. She graduated from Mukwonago High School and ran a local restaurant in Mukwonago, the Country Park Restaurant for a number of years with her husband Dan. She then finished her working career at Sentry Foods and Pick ‘n Save of Mukwonago. After her retirement, Carol volunteered at the East Troy Food Pantry. She enjoyed fishing from her pier, visiting with friends and doing breakfast with “the girls”.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister-in-law Alice Naber.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to ProHealth Hospice and the staff of Frontida Assisted Living for the loving care they provided Carol.

A Visitation will take place from 3:00PM until 5:00PM on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Eagle, WI (499 Elkhorn Road, Eagle, WI 53119) A brief Funeral Service will be held at 5:00PM. Carol will be laid to rest in Troy Lakes Cemetery at a later date.
