Carrie Patrick Obituary

Carrie Ann (Hess) Patrick, 51, of Dousman, WI left her earthly home for Heaven on August 31, 2020 at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc.

Carrie was born on March 27, 1969 in Milwaukee, WI. On September 7, 2004 she married the love of her life, Scott Patrick at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Palmyra, WI. The Lord blessed Scott and Carrie’s union with 3 beautiful children, David, Arik and Caitlyn. First and foremost in Carrie’s life was her faith. Her faith in Jesus was at the center of her life and affected everything she did. She lived her faith and dedicated much of her time to serving others. Some examples of her service include her involvement in the Waukesha County Family Promise Ministry, volunteering at her church, and serving on various boards and other committees for her children’s sports teams. Carrie’s love for her family was also a defining characteristic in her life. She committed herself to being a wonderful wife and mother. If you knew Carrie, you knew how much she loved her children. She would do anything for them and devoted her time and attention to them. Carrie worked as an Executive Assistant in a few industries and most recently for GE Medical Supply. She was also a Certified Personal Trainer. Exercising, being healthy and sharing that with others was important to her. She was funny, outgoing, and loved to spend time with those closest to her. Carrie’s loving family also remembers her for her tremendous strength. She remained strong through her battle with cancer until the very end. Her family takes comfort in the fact that she is with her Lord and Savior. She will be dearly missed.

Carrie is survived by: her loving husband, Scott; her three dear children, David, Arik, and Caitlyn; her mother, Nancy Kaniasty of Milwaukee, WI; her brother, David (Lisa) Hess of Arlington Heights, IL;  her mother-in-law, Karen Patrick of Dousman, WI; her sister-in-law, Michelle Patrick of Palmyra, WI; and her nieces and nephews, Lauren, Emily, Paul, Jacob, and Anthony. She is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father-in-law David Patrick.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carrie’s honor may be made to her family. Memorial donations may be mailed to N3528 Hardscrabble Road, Dousman, WI 53118.
