Cynthia Belan Obituary

 Cynthia J. Belan, of Eagle, WI. passed away peacefully at the age of 69, on Wednesday March 30, 2022 at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc, WI.

She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 50 years, Lester Belan; her beloved sons Peter (Angela) of Oconomowoc and Nathan (Kristen) of Mukwonago; her grandchildren James, Elizabeth, Jon, Madeline, Andrea, William, Alexis, Madison, Savannah and Marissa; her siblings, Jeff (Kathy) Ribar of Summit, WI., Sherry (Jay) Groothousen of Arizona, Shawn (Mike) Hibbard of Waukesha, WI., and Joel (Cathy) Ribar of Wauwatosa, WI. Cindy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Jacob Ribar and Joyce (Roffers) Richmond, sister Susie Schramm and nephew Damian Hibbard.

Cindy was born on February 5, 1953 in Milwaukee, WI. She grew up in Wauwatosa and graduated from Wauwatosa West High School. She was a wonderful wife, a loving mother and devoted grandmother. Her husband Lester was the love of her life and they were inseparable. They built a beautiful life together surrounding themselves with family. She was a women of faith and attended BrookeLife Church. A caregiver at heart, you could often find her helping neighbors or friends, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her sweet gentle spirit, love of children and special talent for cooking afforded her a career as a cook at a daycare center. She made some great friends during her employment until she retired. An admirer of animals she always had cats and adopted strays. She was an avid fan of professional sports and conversations would often turn to the Packers , Brewers & Bucks Cindy had a passion for the outdoors spending much of her time camping, hiking, reading, gardening and bird watching. She was happiest sitting around a campfire or kitchen table with friends and family. Cindy will be deeply missed by the people whose lives she touched.

Cindy's family would like to sincerely thank the team at Angels Grace Hospice for their expert care.

A celebration of Cindy's life will be held at a later date.
