Dale A. Gleaser

Dale A. Gleaser, 70, of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at his home.

Dale was born on June 28, 1956 in Oconomowoc the son of Arles and Wynnefred (Wallace) Gleaser. He was united in marriage to Audrey Vertz on June 26, 1976 at St. Paul Parish in Genesee Depot and the two would go on to enjoy more than 50 years of marriage together. God blessed Dale and Audrey with two children, Jolene and Josh. Dale was a loving husband and father and took pride in providing for his family and making sure their needs were met. Dale worked for the majority of his career as a machinist, retiring in 2016 from J & L Fiber Services. He was a hard worker and instilled the value of hard work in his children and grandchildren. For leisure, Dale enjoyed traveling and owned an RV for many years. He also loved motorcycle riding and owned quite a few motorcycles of all kinds. He and Audrey made many wonderful memories riding together and enjoying God’s creation. Riding was a true passion for them. Dale will be remembered for his “smart-ass” comments, his confidence, his direct and to the point personality and above all else, his love for his family. He was a very proud father and grandfather and had a special connection with each of his close family members. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those he leaves behind.

Dale is survived by: his loving wife of 50 years, Audrey Gleaser of Oconomowoc; his two children, Jolene (Chad) Garlock of Palmyra, and Josh (Jennifer) Gleaser of Palmyra; his five grandsons, Gavin, Brody, Zander, Lincoln and Zeke; and two siblings, Robert Gleaser of Sullivan, and Carol (the late Bill) Becker of Fort Atkinson. Dale is further survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Duane Gleaser, and his sister, Darlene (the late Dave) Evans.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026 at 6:00PM at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Eagle (499 Elkhorn Road, Eagle, WI 53119). Rev. Gregory Barto will officiate the service. Visitation will be held from 3:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
