Daniel R. Wells

Daniel R. Wells, 47, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 16, 2023.

Daniel was born on November 16, 1975 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Robert and Cynthia (Japp) Wells. He grew up in the Mukwonago area and graduated from Mukwonago High School with the class of 1994. Daniel worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer for Faith Technology and he enjoyed his work very much. On August 6, 2010, he was united in marriage to Saundra Nowicki in Jefferson. God blessed Daniel and Saundra with a loving son, Gavin. Daniel was a devoted father to Gavin and would do anything for him. The two shared a very special bond and Daniel was exceedingly proud of his son. Daniel loved to explain and work with Gavin on different electrical projects and they made many good memories working together. For leisure, Daniel liked to be outdoors during the summer months and he also was content being inside watching a cooking show on TV. Daniel also loved his Chevrolet Camaro. He was a loving husband, dad, brother, and son and he will be sincerely missed but forever remembered by those he leaves behind.

He is survived by: his loving wife, Saundra Wells of Fort Atkinson; his dear son, Gavin Wells; his parents, Robert and Cynthia Wells of Watertown; and his sister, Sarah Chartier of Watertown. He is also survived by his nieces, Hallie, Haven, Lillian, Ellie, and Eden, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Patricia and Gerald Nowicki, his maternal grandparents, Gerald and Mary Japp and his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Joyce Wells.

Memorials in Daniel’s honor may be made to his family in lieu of flowers.

A Funeral Service to honor Daniel’s life will be held at 7:00PM on Friday, July 7, 2023 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Palmyra, WI (320 W. Main St. Palmyra, WI 53156). The Rev. David Zimmerman will officiate the service. Visitation will take place from 5:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
