David Aldrich Obituary

David E. Aldrich, 51, of Oconomowoc, WI passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family after an 18-month battle with pancreatic cancer.

David was born on June 13, 1968 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Marvin and Judith (Trzebiatowski) Aldrich. David moved out to the Eagle area at a young age and graduated from Palmyra-Eagle High School. He worked in the Tool and Die industry, initially as a Prototype Engineer and worked his way up over his career, retiring as Production Coordinator for Sjoberg Tool and Manufacturing Corporation. David married the love of his life, Donna Burditt on New Year’s Eve 2015 in Florida. David had a kind heart and was very generous. He had a gift for making other’s laugh. He was always able to break the ice or ease a tense situation with a joke. He will be remembered for his funny, sarcastic personality. His loving wife says that he made her laugh every single day. He had a strong work ethic and was very dedicated. He never missed a day of work and accumulated many certificates for perfect attendance. One of David’s greatest passions was fishing. He was a trophy bass fisherman and was quite skilled in this area. Fishing brought David a lot of joy during his life and he fished for as long as he could. David also had a desire to share his knowledge of fishing with others.  Above all else, David loved his family. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered by his family and many friends.

David is survived by: his loving wife, Donna Aldrich; his dear mother, Judy Aldrich; his loving children, David (Elizabeth) Aldrich, Jr., and Cassidy Aldrich; his step-sons, Dustin Goyer, Vincent Burditt, and Brett Burditt; and his 5 siblings, Wayne Aldrich, Renee (Mike) Anderson, Brian (Kim) Aldrich, Dawn Aldrich, and Kimberly Aldrich. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Aldrich, and his dear niece, Christiana Aldrich.
