Denise J. Fraley

Denise J. Fraley (O’Grady) of Juneau, WI passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 in Beaver Dam, WI with her loving family by her side.

Denise was born on August 17, 1960 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Douglas and Delores (Burrington) O’Grady. She grew up in the Milwaukee area and graduated from Muskego High School. Denise was blessed with a son, Derek. On July 7, 1994, Denise married Dan Fraley in Jefferson and the two would go on to enjoy 28 years of marriage together. Denise worked in the floral industry and also the banking industry during her working career and retired in 2007. She loved her work and interacting with her co-workers and customers. Denise was a very outgoing person and was kind and easy to get along with. She had a big personality and radiated joy and happiness. She was the type of person that would go out of her way to help a friend or loved one in need. Some of Denise’s favorite things included the Christmas season, the beauty of Wisconsin Winters and flowers. She was an excellent wife, daughter, mother and grandmother and made sure her family was spoiled with love. Denise will be dearly missed but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

She is survived by: her loving husband, L. Dan Fraley of Juneau, WI; her parents, Douglas and Delores O’Grady of Dousman, WI; her dear son, Derek (Danielle) Derke of Appleton, WI; her grandchildren, Amaree and Dylan Derke; and her siblings, DuWayne O’Grady of Waukesha, WI, and DeAnna (Jeff) Duesterbeck of Whitewater, WI. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Denyel Gergen and her first husband, Patrick Derke.

A Visitation will be held from 10:30AM until 11:30AM on Friday, May 5, 2023 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Palmyra, WI (320 W. Main St. Palmyra, WI 53156). Denise will be laid to rest following the visitation at 12:00 Noon at Siloam Cemetery in the Town of Palmyra, WI (W104 County Road CI, Palmyra, WI 53156). The Rev. Steven M. D. Blyth will officiate the graveside service.
