Dennis R. Osburn

Dennis R. Osburn, 73, of Palmyra, WI passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at his home with his loving family by his side.

Dennis was born on November 1, 1952 in Milwaukee the son of Robert and Beverly (Newell) Osburn. He married Rosemary Potratz on October 2, 1982 in North Prairie and the couple went on to enjoy 43 years of marriage together. God blessed Dennis with four children, Tammy, Dennis Jr., Robert and Kevin. He worked for Holsum Foods (later Ventura Foods) for more than 40 years and Dennis took pride in providing for his family and making sure they had what they needed. For Leisure, Dennis enjoyed being outside in God’s creation hunting and fishing and enjoying nature. He also loved to work on cars and trucks and was very skilled with his hands. He will be remembered for his love for his family and his faith in God. Dennis’ family takes comfort that he is at home in Heaven with his Savior, Jesus.

He is survived by: his loving wife, Rosemary Osburn of Palmyra; his children, Tammy (Patrick) Smithwick of Sanford, NC, Dennis Osburn of Palmyra, Robert (Lindsey) Osburn of Waterloo, and Kevin (Amanda) Osburn of Pewaukee; his grandchildren, Whitney, Justin (Kaylyn), Cody, Sadie, Jaxon, Julian, Mason, Madeline, Braxton, Waverly, and Miley; and his great-granddaughter, Millie; and his siblings, Linda (Kurt) Koster of Hartland, Brenda (the late Edward) Usher of Waukesha, Jim (Kathy) Osburn of Waukesha, Steve (Michelle) Osburn of Waukesha, and Rob (Paula) Osburn of Omro, and Billy Krueger. He is further survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his niece, Melissa.

Memorials in Dennis’ honor may be made to Mukwonago Baptist Church.

A Funeral Service for Dennis will be held at 1:30PM on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Mukwonago Baptist Church with Pastor Rhon Roberts presiding. Visitation will take place from 11:30AM until the time of service at the church. Dennis will be laid to rest in Pleasant Valley Cemetery following the service.
