Donald R. Parrish, Jr.

Donald R. Parrish, Jr. 69, of Palmyra, WI passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at AngelsGraceHospice Center in Oconomowoc, WI.

Don was born on August 30, 1955 in Steubenville, OH the son of Donald and Irene (Domoslay) Parrish, Sr.. He grew up in the Steubenville area and after his schooling, served his country in the United States Army. Don was stationed in Germany for a portion of his service and after an honorable discharge, moved to the Milwaukee area to begin his working career. Don was blessed with two children, Jennifer and Donald III. He was united in marriage to Marilyn “Rayna” Frost on March 31, 2000 and the couple enjoyed 24 years of marriage together. He worked as a Metal Fabricator for Spuncast, Inc. for the majority of his working career retiring in 2009. Don was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also liked to work outside in his yard and garden. He had a special relationship with his grandchildren and loved them very much. He will be remembered for his fun personality and his kindness. Don will be sincerely missed by his friends and family. 

He is survived by: his loving wife, Marilyn “Rayna” Parrish of Palmyra; his children, Jennifer Parrish of New Berlin and Donald Parrish III of Milwaukee; his step-children, Tony (Shelley) Henry of Warrens, WI, Lisa (Alan) Koeppel of Lake Mills, WI, and Lori (Steven) Leary of Fort Atkinson, WI; his grandchildren, Kayla, Austin, Lucy, Colton, Erica, Ruth, Samatha, Hannah, David, and Michael; his great-grandchildren, Kayden, Cynthia, Stella and Azariah; and his brother, Bruce (Christine) Parrish of Watertown, WI. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Patricia Rambo and Jacquelyn Leas, and his nephew, Ken. 

Memorials in Don's honor may be made to AngelsGrace Hospice or the Palmyra United Methodist Church.

A Graveside Service with full Military Honors will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Hillside Cemetery in Palmyra, WI. Pastor Hyo-Won Park of Palmyra United Methodist Church will officiate the service.
