Emily Lynn Soto

Emily L. Soto, 21, of Whitewater, WI passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025 peacefully at her home.

Emily was born on August 30, 2004 in Oconomowoc, WI the daughter of Jose Antonio Soto Salazar and Annalie Espinoza. Emily grew up in Whitewater and graduated from the Lakeland School. Emily was blessed with three siblings, Jose, Itzarely, and Edy Alan. She enjoyed music, movies and spending time with her family. Emily will be remembered for her big smile and beautiful eyes that could speak a million words. A silent angel has now earned her wings. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those she leaves behind.

She is survived by: her loving mother, Annalie Espinoza of Whitewater; her three siblings, Jose (Maria Manriquez) Soto of Whitewater, Itzarely Contreras of Whitewater, and Edy Alan Contreras of Whitewater; and her grandparents, Dora and Daniel Espinoza, and Ana Salazar. She is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, her grandfather, her cousin and her uncle.

A Visitation will be held on from 5:00PM to 7:00PM on Friday, September 19, 2025 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Palmyra, WI (320 W. Main Street, Palmyra, WI 53156). A second Visitation will be held from 10:00AM to 12:00 Noon with a Mass of Christian Burial starting at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Whitewater, WI (1225 W Main St, Whitewater, WI 53190).
