Gavin T. Renfro

Gavin T. Renfro, age 17, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.

Gavin was born on October 20, 2008 in Waukesha the son of Adam and Tiffany (Adams) Renfro. He grew up in the Eagle area and was on track to graduate early from East Troy High School. Gavin had a quick whit and loved to be funny. He had a sense of humor that was clever and advanced for his age. He was always ready with a comment or remark, and it was not always appropriate, but usually funny. He had many interests during his young life. He enjoyed skiing, playing video games, cars and specifically going for drives, playing tennis, and spending time with his friends. Above all else in Gavin’s life was his love for those closest to him. Gavin also shared a special connection with animals, especially his pet dogs and they brought him a lot of joy over the years. Gavin was a wonderful friend, brother, son, grandson and nephew. He had a heart of gold and would regularly check in with his close friends and family to make sure they were doing well. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the lives of his family and friends.

He is survived by: his loving parents, Adam and Tiffany Renfro of Eagle; his siblings, Marine Adams of East Troy, and Audrina Renfro of Eagle; his maternal grandparents, Keith and Christine Adams of East Troy, his aunts and uncles, Sarah (Andy) Karges of Greenfield, Kim (Joe) Smith of Waukesha, and Tammy Adams of Eagle; and his cousins, Kaylin, Jaxson, Addison, and Josh.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dan and Diana Renfro.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00PM until 7:00PM on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Eagle (499 Elkhorn Road, Eagle, Wisconsin 53119). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Eagle, Wisconsin. Fr. Dennis Ackeret and Fr. Denny Jacob will officiate the mass.
