Grace Julia Rutkowski

Grace J. Rutkowski, 30, of Palmyra, WI passed into eternal life on Sunday, April 26, 2020 as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident.

She was born on May 5, 1989 the youngest daughter of Donald and Debra (Sommers) Rutkowski. She grew up in Palmyra and graduated from Palmyra-Eagle High School in 2007.

Grace will be remembered for her kind and outgoing nature. She had a talent for forming fast friendships and making everyone she met feel special. Her proudest accomplishment was being a loving mother to her two beautiful children, Everett and Scarlett. Her passion for animals, absurd sense of humor, and instinct to help those in need will be cherished fondly by her loved ones. She was a giving and caring person and she will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind.

Grace is survived by: her two beautiful children, Everett and Scarlett; her loving parents, Donald and Debra Rutkowski; her seven dear siblings, Jeremy (Alma Mann) Rutkowski, Katie (James Lorman) Rutkowski, Molly (Josh) Thomas, Hannah Balgord, Zachary (LaDina) Rutkowski, Leah Gerlach, and Caleb (Brittany) Rutkowski; the father of her children, James Mielke; and her children’s paternal grandparents, Jim and Renee Mielke. She is also survived by a large number of adored nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Grace is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Eugene and Joyce Rutkowski, and her maternal grandparents, Emory and Helen Sommers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Grace’s honor may be made to her family for the care of her children.

A celebration of Grace’s life will follow at a later date.
