Helen M. O'Hern

Helen M. O’Hern, 65, of Watertown, WI passed away on November 22, 2023 at her home.

Helen was born on July 25, 1958 in Hortonville, WI the daughter of James and Carol (Ward) O’Hern. She spent most of her childhood in the Hortonville area before moving to Palmyra in 1974. Helen attended the Jefferson County Special Education Program and graduated in 1979. Helen would eventually move to Watertown in the year 2000. After the move to Palmyra, Helen worked in programs provided by Opportunities, Inc. until she passed away. She also enjoyed music, a good meal, and spending time with her family and pets. Helen will be missed by those who knew her.

She is survived by: her brother, Martin O’Hern of St. Louis, MO; her aunt, Mary Ruetten of Delafield, WI; and her “mom” Susan Willing of Watertown, WI. Helen is also survived by a number of nieces, a nephew, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Shaun O’Hern.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Palmyra, WI. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until the time of mass at the church. Helen will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery immediately following the mass.
