Jacqueline T. Jones

Jacqueline T. Jones, age 97, passed away on December 16, 2024 in Whitewater, WI.

She is survived by her children, Annette Mayfield of Eagle, WI, Nancy Woodruff of Yorkville, IL, and Randal Jones of Galesburg, IL., and her five grandchildren, Dwain, Edmund, Alexander, Jessica and Amanda.

She was a graduate of Lincoln High School and attended Nebraska Wesleyan University.

She started her career working as an administrative assistant for the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and later, worked for the Boy Scouts of America, International Mineral and Chemical Corporation and Abbott Laboratories.

She and her family were avid snow skiers, water skiers and boaters, owning trawlers on White Bear Lake, the Ohio River, Lake Michigan and the Gulf of Mexico. She and her husband Dwain also owned and showed several British sports cars in Florida and she served as president of the British Car Club in Sarasota.

Jackie and her husband Dwain were active members and supporters of the Shrine in Sarasota, Florida where they worked to support patient care, research and education, benefiting the Shriner Hospitals. Jackie also spent her time volunteering at Selby Gardens in Sarasota.

Jacqueline will be buried in Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska.
