James Nejedlo Obituary

James M. Nejedlo, Jr., 64 of Delafield, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 10, 2026.

Jim was born on November 7, 1961, in Green Bay, the son of James and Martha (Mihm) Nejedlo, Sr. He grew up in the Green Bay area and graduated from Green Bay East High School with the class of 1980. After high school, Jim would continue his schooling at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he met his future wife, Pam Potrykus, in the dorms his freshman year. Jim would graduate from Madison and further pursue and obtain a Master's Degree in Engineering. Jim and Pam were united in marriage on September 24, 1988, at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Dousman, and the Lord blessed their union with two children, Caitlin and James III. (“J.T.”). Jim worked for Harley-Davidson in a variety of roles for the majority of his working career, retiring in 2016. He enjoyed his work and took pride in providing for his family. Jim was passionate about the relationships in his life and was very intentional about being the best husband, father, grandfather, and friend he could be. It was common for him to reach out to his friends and family to check in on them and to schedule a time to get together. For leisure, Jim loved to play, watch, practice, or talk about golf. He loved everything about the sport, and the social nature of the game suited him perfectly. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his devotion to his family, and his faith in God. Jim will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those he leaves behind.

He is survived by: his loving wife, Pam Nejedlo of Delafield; his two dear children, Caitlin (Jonah) Drake of Verona; and J.T. Nejedlo of Delafield; his precious granddaughter, Macy Drake; his father, James Nejedlo, Sr. of Green Bay; and his three siblings, Connie (Dan) Boncher of Green Bay, Lonnie Corpus of Oshkosh, and John (Margaret) Nejedlo of Fond du Lac. He is further survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Genesee. Fr. Dan Volkert will officiate the Mass. Visitation will take place from 8:30 AM until the time of the service at the church. Jim will be laid to rest in St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Genesee immediately following the mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jim’s honor may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org), to an organization that provides Christmas gifts for a family in need, or to a charity of your choice.
