Jenny L. Szymkowski

Jenny L. Szymkowski, 55, of Palmyra, Wisconsin passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026 after a courageous battle against cancer.

Jenny was born on February 2, 1971 in Waukesha the daughter of Andrew and Lynn (McCaffery) Szymkowski. Jenny was blessed with two children, Jacob and Karlee. She was a loving mother and took excellent care of her children. Jenny loved to be outside and work in her garden. She will be remembered for her delicious meals and always kept her family well fed. She also shared a special connection to animals and her pets brought her a lot of joy over the years. Above all else in Jenny’s life was her love for her family. She was at her best when surrounded by those closest to her. She will be deeply missed.

Jenny is survived by: her loving partner of 27 years, John Gorichanaz of Palmyra; her mother, Lynn Egly; her dear children, Jacob Crouch and Karlee Crouch; her granddaughter, Adelaine Crouch; and her siblings, Tim Szymkowski, Amy (Jeff) Schmidt, Karen Szymkowski, and Beth (Tim) Nowaczyk. She is further survived a by a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Jenny is preceded in death by her father, Andrew Szymkowski, her dear sister, Sara Szymkowski and her step-father, Larry Egly.

A private family service will be held to honor Jenny’s life.
