Jesse J. Messier

Jesse J. Messier, 42, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 4th, 2024 in Lake Geneva, WI.

Jesse was born on August 18, 1982 in Milwaukee the son of Reyne Fuller and Alan Messier. After Jesse completed his schooling, he worked in the marble and granite industry for the majority of his working career. Jesse was united in marriage to his “golden link”, Cayli Peterson on January 11, 2023 in Walworth County. The two were soulmates and shared their loving canine companion, El Chapo the Mexican Pitbull from New Orleans. Jesse loved life and was always happy. He enjoyed the outdoors and had many different interests. He enjoyed fishing, rock hunting, hiking adventures that turned into sasquatch hunting, reading, picking wildflowers, and pretty much any other outdoor activity. He made many wonderful memories with his wife and Chapo. For leisure, Jesse enjoyed reading, and listening to music, especially his favorite rapper, Tupac. Jesse will be deeply missed but his memory will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends.

He is survived by: his loving wife and golden link, Cayli Messier of Fort Atkinson; his brother, JR; his siblings-in-law, Cody and Hannah; his beloved Grams, Linda Fuller; his uncles, Bruce (Belinda), Brett (Betty), George, and Marv (Terri); his aunt, Joan; his cousins, Josie, Alex, Jessica, Noah, Lauren, Sara, Michael, Ari and Rachel; his Grandma Ida; his loving parents-in-law, Deanna (Michael) Macleod, and Craig Peterson; and his brothers from other mothers, Carlos, Tom, Titino, Champ and Pisa. He is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Paul and John, and his uncle, Ben.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Palmyra, WI (320 W. Main Street, Palmyra, WI 53156). Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Jesse will be laid to rest following the service in Hillside Cemetery of Palmyra, WI.
