Julie A. Collins

Julie A. Collins, 40, of Milwaukee, WI passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident.

She was born on August 22, 1983 in Waukesha, WI the daughter of Wayne Collins and Mary (Congdon/Collins)Ludwig. Julie was blessed with three children, Arianna, Tyler and Scout. Julie loved her children and cared for them deeply. She was a third year student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, having just been elected to the Honors Society. Next to being a mother, Julie found her greatest joy being a student.

She is survived by: her loving children Arianna, Tyler and Scout; her mother, Mary (David) Ludwig; her grandmother, Charlotte Perkins; her siblings, Emily Ludwig, Doug (Crissy) Ludwig, and Russ (Becky) Ludwig. She is also survived by aunts and uncles and many cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her father, Wayne Collins; her brother, Bradley; her grandfather, Doug Condon; grandmother, Ingrid Collins; step-grandparents Donald and Ruth Ludwig; and great-grandparents Al and Toodie Agen.

A Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Palmyra, WI (320 West Main Street, Palmyra, WI 53156).Pastor David Griffiths will officiate the service. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Julie will be laid to rest in Hillside Cemetery of Palmyra, WI at a later date.
