Justin Lesch Obituary

In Loving Memory of Justin J. Lesch February 20, 1985 – May 24, 2025

With heavy hearts, we share that Justin J. Lesch, age 40, of Whitewater, WI, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek, surrounded by love.

Born on February 20, 1985, in Waukesha, Justin brought quiet strength and gentle kindness to many. He was a calm and compassionate soul with a heart full of intellect, curiosity and care.

Justin loved the natural world and had a deep connection with animals, especially horses and his cherished cat Marvel. His bond with them was natural and intuitive, reflecting the empathy that guided so much of his life. He was a generous and thoughtful person, often choosing to show his love through quiet presence and meaningful acts of kindness.

He also had a passion for travel and adventure. Justin found great joy in discovering new places and was especially fascinated by the beauty and mystery of caves. Exploring the underground world brought him a sense of peace and wonder that matched his introspective spirit.

Above all, family was the most important part of Justin’s life. His happiest moments were those spent with the people he loved. Whether through laughter, quiet conversation, or simply being together, he gave his heart fully to those around him. His gentle presence and deep love will be remembered always.

Justin is survived by his devoted mother and stepfather, Suzanne and Mark Madecky of Palmyra, WI; his siblings, Michael (Angela) Lesch of Whitewater, Lindsay (Jeff) White of Whitewater, Nicholas Lesch of Whitewater, Tyler Madecky of Palmyra, James Madecky of Watertown, Lucas (Mari) Madecky of Palmyra, Liz Madecky of Palmyra; and of course…Marvel. He is also lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Pat Gallup, and his uncle, Dave Gallup.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all the providers who supported Justin during his cancer journey. Special gratitude goes to his dedicated oncologist and palliative care nurse practitioner at SSM Health, the exceptional and caring team at City of Hope in Zion, IL, and the compassionate staff at Rainbow Hospice in Johnson Creek. Your care, kindness, and presence brought comfort not only to Justin, but to all of us who loved him.

A celebration of Justin’s life will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Gibson Family Funeral Home, 499 Elkhorn Road, Eagle, WI. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Justin will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Eagle following the service.

Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that Justin’s spirit is free and traveling, exploring, and watching over those he loved. He will be forever missed, endlessly loved, and always remembered.

“Life is eternal, and love is immortal, and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight.” — Rossiter W. Raymond
