Karen J. Sourile

Karen J. Sourile, 69, of Palmyra, WI passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Aurora Summit Hospital.

Karen was born in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of William and Bernice Walloch. She grew up in West Allis and graduated from West Allis Central High School with the class of 1973. Karen was united in marriage to Thomas Sourile on September 23, 1978 and the couple was blessed with 3 children, Thomas, Danielle, and Anthony. Above all else in Karen’s life was her love for her family. Her family was her world and she was a wonderful wife, mom and grandma. She had an extra special connection with her grandchildren and loved them all dearly. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those she leaves behind.

She is survived by: her loving husband of 45 years, Thomas Sourile of Palmyra; her three children, Thomas (Katherine) Sourile of Olathe, KS, Danielle (Scott Rosen) Sourile of Oconomowoc, WI, and Anthony (Katie) Sourile of Palmyra; her beloved grandchildren and the lights of her life, Madilynn, Hudson, Finley, Addison, Ryott, and Rebel.; and her siblings, Shirley (Mike) Ebel, Janet (Gary) Lang, Carol Walloch, and Sandra (the late Gerard) Turkowitch. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her two siblings, Thomas Walloch and Joyce Schultz, and her dear grandson, Rhett.

A Celebration of Karen’s Life will be held from 3:00PM until 6:00PM on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Palmyra, WI (320 W. Main Street, Palmyra, WI 53156).
