Kim Daul Obituary

Sadly, on September 13, 2026, our big sister Kim (Schultz) Daul passed away at ProHealth Care Hospital in Mukwonago, Wisconsin after a yearlong battle with a rare cancer and chronic kidney disease, combined with recent health complications. She was hospitalized in Friendship on September 1, 2026 and transported to a Madison hospital where she was released on September 6th to her sister, and was being cared for at Jean's home in LaGrange.

Kim was born April 21, 1961 at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain, Michigan to parents Wayne and Mildred (Gazza) Schultz.  On November 4, 1967, her mother, Mildred "Cookie" was married to James Lindholm and together with Kim and her younger sister, Jean, they relocated to Potter's Lake in East Troy, Wisconsin. They moved to LaGrange and then to Eagleville where Kim attended Mukwonago High School. She then lived with Richard Daul in Eagleville until they moved to Friendship. On April 28, 1984, they were married in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Together they operated a small tavern (now Slip Inn) on the shores of Castle Rock Lake in Friendship. Kim then worked as a cook for Carlson's Rustic Ridge for more than 20 years, until October 2019, where she was fondly known as "Mama D."  After Rick's passing on March 28, 2020 and with the kindness of good friends, Kim continued to live in their home.
