Kimberly M. Rohn, 45, of Waukesha, WI passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc.
Kim was born on September 19, 1978 in St. Francis, the oldest child of Gary and Bonnie Rohn. Kim grew up in St. Francis and Mukwonago and graduated from Mukwonago High School. During her youth, Kim participated in the performing arts and would light up the stage with her presence. After high school, Kim went on to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Management/Promotion from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She was also a talented singer, who enjoyed singing and performing throughout her life and was known to occasionally perform a spirited rendition of “Fairytale of New York” with the local Waukesha Irish band, Dublin O’Shea. Kim worked at Wal-Mart for 20 years in multiple management roles. Kim met Brent Reich in 2008 and they became close and started dating. The couple would later be united in marriage after a short 12-year courtship on February 29, 2020 in Waukesha. Kim was outgoing, kind, and incredibly generous. She was social and enjoyed the company of good friends. Kim was funny, a bit sassy, had a sharp wit, and impeccable comedic timing. Some of Kim’s best times were spent at her second home in Goodman, WI enjoying all that the area had to offer, camping with her husband, and spending time with loved ones and friends. Above all else in her life was her love of family. Kim was a caring wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend and leaves a void in the hearts of those that loved her.
She is survived by: her loving husband, Brent Reich of Waukesha; her mother, Bonnie (Johnson) Rohn of Mukwonago; her siblings, Joseph (Kaelyn) Rohn of Nekoosa, Katie (Timothy) Glowacki of Thorntown, IN, and Jason (Mallory) VonRohn of Arlington Heights, IL; her nieces and nephews, Owen, Rue, Ewan, Dakota, and Peyton; her mother- and stepfather-in-law, Kathleen Reich-Slifka and Michael Slifka of Middleton; and her sister-in-law, Wednesday Reich of Madison.
