Larry L. Behlendorf, 91, died peacefully on March 2nd, 2022, of cancer. He was born in 1930 in Cudahy, Wisconsin, to parents Earl and Dorothy Behlendorf.
Larry attended Boys Trade and Technical High School (Boys Tech) in Milwaukee where he became a plumber. Larry then served two years in the Army during the Korean War. Afterwards, he worked in Wind Lake, Wisconsin for, and later became owner of, Behlendorf Plumbing and Heating until retirement, when he moved and built a home in Bella Vista, Arkansas.
In Wisconsin Larry enjoyed duck and deer hunting, fishing, trap shooting, and camping. In retirement he loved fishing, gardening, cribbage, and his volunteer job at Bella Vista Recycling Center. Larry was a member of Norway Lutheran Church in Wind Lake and a member of United Lutheran Church in Bella Vista.
Larry is survived by his wife, Catherine (married 65 years); daughters Cindy Behlendorf, Suzanne Buntrock, Lisbeth Behlendorf; son Steven Behlendorf; sister Diane (W. Alan) Ehr; brother Doug (Linda) Behlendorf; grandchildren Clare, Jacob, Sarah, and Joshua and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family thanks Northwest Medical Center and Circle of Life Hospice for their dedication and care.

Larry Behlendorf died this past March in Bella Vista, AR. Per his wishes, and those of Catherine (Hendricksen) Behlendorf, he was cremated. A service will be held in his memory in Eagle, WI and, following the service, his ashes will be interred at the nearby cemetery where several Hendricksen family members are also buried. After a short ceremony at the cemetery, lunch will be held in Eagle.
