Linda S. Bennett, 69, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin left her Earthly home for Heaven on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
Linda was born on July 16, 1956 in Hartford, Wisconsin the daughter of Emil and Phyllis (Krieger) Kempher. She grew up in the Milwaukee area and was blessed with a loving son, Ryan. On October 14, 2005, Linda was united in marriage to Matthew Bennett in Jefferson and the couple would go on to enjoy 20 years of marriage together. Linda had a servant’s heart and was a very giving person. She was always looking to do what she could for those around her and she regularly put other’s needs before her own. She will be remembered for her strong work ethic, her generosity, and her kind spirit. Linda’s family takes comfort in the fact that she is home in Heaven with her savior, Jesus.
She is survived by: her loving husband, Matthew Bennett; her dear son, Ryan (Ashley) Ford; her grandchildren, Christian, Jack, Katie, Elizabeth, Kylee, Nick, Breanna, Sean, Gavin, Noel, Cameron, Hannah, Everly, and Lyla; her loving step-children, Rob Bennett, Lora (Pete) Cronin, Ruth (Steve) Goessel, Daniel (Kati) Bennett, and Sally (Collin) Grady; and her siblings, Kenny, Sharon, Nickol and David. She is further survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents.
A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00PM on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home (499 Elkhorn Road, Eagle, WI 53119). Pastor Douglas Richards will officiate the service. Visitation will take place from 4:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
