Linda A. Houk

Linda A. Houk, 69, of Brookfield, WI passed away on December 6, 2023 at Froedtert Hospital.

Linda was born on May 8, 1954 in Watertown the daughter of Arthur and Mary (Foltz) Houk. She grew up in the Palmyra area and attended Palmyra High School. After her schooling, she worked as a cleaner at the Countryside Nursing Home in Jefferson. Linda had a good sense of humor and enjoyed laughter. She could be a bit stubborn at times, but at the end of day she had a good heart and cared for others. Linda loved her family and shared a special connection with her nephew, Chad. Linda was a good lady and she will be missed but forever remembered by those she leaves behind.

She is survived by: her brother, Arthur (Valrie) Houk of Hebron, her sister, Diane Gruling of Palmyra; her nieces and nephews, Chad (Lisa) Kahn, Trisha (Ryan Bills) Martin, Ryan (Kristi Creighton) Houk, Matthew Houk, and Laura (Dan) Evenson; and her great nieces and nephews, Gabby, Landon, Beau, Shantae, Rosalyn and Alex.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Linda will be laid to rest during a private family burial service at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Palmyra, WI.
