Linda J. Wiemers

Linda J. Wiemers, 77, of Eagle, WI passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at her home with her loving husband by her side.

Linda was born on June 20, 1948 in South Milwaukee the daughter of Frank and Helen (Lozewski) Liska. She grew up in the Milwaukee area and graduated from Oak Creek High School. On March 22, 1969, Linda was united in marriage to Thomas A. Wiemers at St. James Catholic Church in Franklin. The couple spent the first years of their marriage in the Milwaukee area before moving out to Eagle in 1981. Linda was kind hearted, friendly and a truly giving person. She was willing to help those in need and one of the greatest examples of this in her life was her love of animals. Linda rescued many animals and was always willing to take the difficult cases. She and Tom made many wonderful memories together. Linda will be missed but forever remembered by those she leaves behind.

She is survived by: her loving husband of 56 years, Thomas Wiemers, her brother, Allan (Kathleen Ermi) Liska of Franklin; her nieces, Tracy (DJ) Donich of Burlington, Kimberly (the late Victor) Ruiz of Greenfield, and Cynthia Marschke of East Troy; and her great nieces and nephews, Kirsten, Jocie, Marianna, Josh, and John. She is further survived by other relatives and friends and two great-great nephews, Hayden and Owen.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents.

A private family service will be held to honor Linda’s life.
