Lizabeth J. Schwartz

Lizabeth J. “Missy” Schwartz, 60, of Oconomowoc, WI passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Lake Country Health and Rehab Center.

Missy was born on October 15, 1962 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of James and Sandra Lee (Duehr) Brown. She grew up in the Milwaukee area and attended Custer High School. Missy worked in a number of different capacities during her life, but he majority of her career was spent in the Printing Industry. On November 17, 1986, Missy was united in marriage to Gerald Schwartz and the two would go on to enjoy 29 years of marriage until Gerald’s death in 2016. Missy was blessed with two sons, Jonathan and Joshua. Missy had a special connection with animals, especially her pet dogs. Animals brought her a lot of joy during her life. She also enjoyed counter cross stitching in her later years. Missy was loved by her family and she will be missed.

She is survived by: her mother, Sandra Brown of Friendship, WI; her two children, Jonathan Brown of South Milwaukee, WI and Joshua Schwartz of Waukesha, WI; her grandchildren, Joel and Jazlynn; and her two brothers, James Brown, Jr. of Eagle, WI and Tracy (Katia) Brown of Milwaukee, WI. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Brown, Sr., and her husband, Gerald Schwartz.

Memorials in Missy’s honor may be made to her family.

A Memorial Service will be held to honor Missy’s life at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Eagle, WI (499 Elkhorn Road, Eagle, WI 53119). Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home. A Reception will follow the service.
