Luis Y. Delgado Flores

Luis Y. Delgado Flores, 46, of East Troy, WI passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at his home.

Luis was born on May 29, 1979 in Caguas, Puerto Rico the son of Luis A. Delgado Hernandez and Carmen L. Flores Clavijo. He grew up in Puerto Rico and Milwaukee and graduated from Casimir Pulaski High School in Milwaukee. Luis worked as an equipment operator in the industrial field for the majority of his working career. He will be remembered for his kind and bubbly demeanor, his big heart and good sense of humor. Some of his best times were spent fishing and enjoying God’s creation with his friends and family. Above all else in Luis’s life was his love for his family. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those he leaves behind.

He is survived by: his parents, Luis A. Delgado Hernandez and Carmen L. Flores Clavijo; the love of his life, Cheri Villanueva of East Troy; his siblings, Carmen I. Delgado of Longwood, FL, and Luis A. Delgado Flores of Caguas, PR; his niece and nephews, Vien Le-Delgado, Luis M. Delgado Hiraldo, and Gisselle Delgado Hiraldo; his dear chosen children, Juan (Melissa) Villanueva of Greendale, Jessica (Kevin) Trong of Eagle, Daniel (Leah) Villanueva of Fox Point, Angelina Villanueva of Sussex, Anthony (Molly) Villanueva of Pensacola, FL, and Andy (Gia) Villanueva of South Milwaukee; and his grandchildren, Cora, Emma, Lyla, Jackson, Lincoln, Eleanor, Levi and William. Luis is further survived by a number of other relatives and friends.

Luis is preceded in death by his uncle, Clemente Hernandez.

A private family celebration will be held to honor Luis’s life.
