Mary K. Adams

Mary K. “Kris” Adams, 53, of Eagle, WI passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Janesville, WI.

Kris was born on March 9th, 1972, in Leavenworth, Kansas, the daughter of Craig and Sara (Washburn) Sandy. On August 28, 1993, Kris was united in marriage to Richard Adams in Blackwell, Oklahoma and the two would go on to enjoy over thirty years of marriage together. Kris and Richard were blessed with three children, Katrena, Andrew, and Rich. Kris will be remembered for her spitfire personality, kindness and compassion toward others, and special connection with animals. She made wonderful memories traveling with her family and “glamping” in her fifth wheel. She also enjoyed deer hunting and being outdoors. As a loving wife, mother and very proud grandma, she will be dearly missed but forever remembered by those she leaves behind.

She is survived by: her loving husband, Richard Adams of Eagle, WI; her loving mother, Sara (Cheryl) Sandy; her children, Katrena (Evan) Karow of Palmyra, WI, Andrew (Marissa) Adams of Jefferson, WI, and Richard (Elizabeth) Adams of Janesville, WI; her dear grandchildren, Wesley, Elijah, Ryker, Remy, Freya, and Parker; and her siblings, Michael (Shawn) Sandy, Sandra Robinson, and Ryan Robinson. Kris is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and her faithful canine companion, Charlie.

Kris is preceded in death by her father, Craig Sandy.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Eagle, WI (499 Elkhorn Road, Eagle, WI 53119). Visitation will take place from 9:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Kris will be laid to rest in Oak Ridge Cemetery immediately following the service.
