Michael G. Sentz, 72, of Palmyra, WI passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 25, 2024 at his home.
Mike was born on September 3, 1952 in Milwaukee the son of Gilbert and Natalie (Martin) Sentz. He moved to New Berlin at a young age and graduated from New Berlin West High School. Mike worked as a Machinist for most of his life - well over 55 years and he was excellent at it. He took pride in his work and was very skilled at his craft. Mike worked for a few different companies over the course of his career and eventually had his own shop. Mike was united in marriage to the love of his life, Denice Connelly on June 22, 1991 and the couple would go on to enjoy 33 years of marriage together. Mike was blessed with five kids, Jennifer, Nathan, Josh, Luke and Rachel. He was very proud of his family and his kids and grandkids were the light of his life. Mike was at his best when surrounded by those he loved. Mike was sociable, kind, funny, generous, happy and forgiving. He was very patriotic and proud of his country. Mike loved to talk politics and he was very pleased with the results of the recent election. Above all else, Mike was a true leader and patriarch in his family and made sure that everyone he loved was taken care of and had what they needed. He put his family first and will be sincerely missed by those he leaves behind.
He is survived by: his loving wife, Denice Sentz of Palmyra; his children, Jennifer Sentz of Lyndon Station, Nathan Sentz of Elkhorn, Josh (Amy) Bettinger of Mukwonago, Luke Connelly of Waterford, and Rachel (Todd) Vogel of Jefferson; his grandchildren, Danni Jo, Jessica (Tim), Tylar, Mack, Scarlett, Ava, Hailey, Cason, Colton, Parker and Irelynn; his great-grandchildren, Blaine and Dakota; and his sister, Roni Kaufman of West Allis. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Patricia, Suzie, and Jim.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00PM on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Palmyra, WI (320 W. Main Street, Palmyra, WI 53119). Visitation will take place from 3:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
