Nancy Trewyn Obituary

Nancy A. Trewyn, 83, of Palmyra, WI passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.

Nancy was born on February 24,  1942 in Crystal Lake, IL the daughter of Elmer and Alice (McMillan) Geske. She grew up in the Lima Center area and after her schooling, was united in marriage to Thomas L. Trewyn on September 20, 1958 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Whitewater. God blessed Nancy and Tom with two sons, Vern and Tommie. Nancy worked in a few different capacities during her life, her favorite and most recent was as a dietician and food preparer at Fairhaven Senior Services of Whitewater. Nancy was a talented cook and baker and so her work at Fairhaven suited her quite well. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, and gardening. Although Nancy had many interests, her favorite place to be was near her family spending quality time and making memories. Some of Nancy’s best times were spent during holiday gatherings with her family and she treasured these special occasions. Nancy will be remembered for her selfless and generous spirit, her kindness and devotion to her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and she will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those she leaves behind.

Nancy is survived by: her loving husband of 67 years, Thomas Trewyn of Palmyra; her sons, Vern (Penny) Trewyn of Bettendorf, IA, and Tommie (Sara) Trewyn of Elkhorn; her grandchildren, Gabbie (Zach) Wollert, Jake (Ryley) Trewyn, Erika (Greg) O’Brien and Ben (Spencer) Trewyn; her great-grandchildren, Noah and Addi O’Brien, Lanie Wollert, and Vincent Trewyn; and her siblings, Arlene (Richard) Trewyn, Mary (Gayle) Smith, Susan (Gordy) Gimski, Marge Petskal, and Raymond (Patty) Geske. She is further survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Edward Geske.
