Patricia A. Hillen

Patricia A. Hillen, 88, of Elkhorn, WI passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at her home.

Patricia was born on April 19, 1937 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Erwin and Verona (Rheineck) Foerster. She grew up in the Milwaukee area and graduated from Rufus King High School. Patricia was united in marriage to Gerald J. Hillen on February 4, 1956 in Milwaukee and the couple enjoyed nearly 60 years of marriage until Jerry’s death in 2015. Patricia and Jerry were blessed with two daughters, Debra and Linda. She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her happiest moments were spent surrounded by her close-knit family. Together with Jerry, Patricia created a lifetime of beautiful memories, especially during their cherished winters snowbirding in The Villages, Florida.

Patricia will be remembered as a truly caring and compassionate soul whose warmth touched everyone she met. Her friendly personality and genuine desire to uplift others made her a natural friend-maker, she had a special way of complimenting people and making them feel seen, valued, and loved. Patricia’s love for people shone through in everything she did, whether enjoying music, playing games with friends and family, or taking the occasional trip to the casino. Her kindness, joyful spirit, and heartfelt care will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by: her sister, Marilyn Fleischer; her two daughters, Debra Hiemer of West Bend, and Linda (Doug) Varrelmann of Eagle; her grandchildren, Michelle (Jared) Spang of Adell, Cheryl (Kael) Brady of Wyoming, Eric (Megan) Sager of West Bend, Jeffrey (Rachel) Hiemer of Charlotte, NC, Brandon Hiemer of West Bend, Andrew (Monica) Varrelmann of Big Bend, and Christie (Peter) Jazwiecki of Big Bend; and her great-grandchildren, Ryan, Drew, Connor, Emily, Cody, Kailey, River, Milo, Ben, Max, Eli and Ezra.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her dear husband, Gerald Hillen.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
