Patricia M. Jensen

Patricia M. Jensen, 85, of Palmyra, WI passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was born on November 22, 1935 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Harry and Ruth (Eder) Dreblow. She grew up in the Milwaukee area and after graduating high school, she married Paul Gigl. The two were blessed with four children, Paul, David, Donna and James. The couple began their life together in Milwaukee and then moved out to Watertown, WI to raise their family.  Patricia and Paul would go on to enjoy over 50 years of marriage together until Paul passed away. Patricia later married Paul Jensen in Elkhorn, WI and the two enjoyed many years together as well. Patricia had many interests in her life. She owned a few of her own businesses over her working career. She definitely was not afraid to try new things. She enjoyed ice skating as a young woman, and then at the age of 72, she decided to start roller skating again. Patricia had an artistic side and enjoyed crocheting, painting and playing the organ. The thing that made her the happiest was being around her loving family. She greatly enjoyed spending time and bonding with her loved ones. Patricia was dearly loved and will be missed by those she leaves behind.

She is survived by: her loving husband, Paul Jensen of Palmyra, WI; her four children, Paul (Virginia) Gigl of California, David Gigl of Waupun, WI, Donna (Dan) Lueck of Horicon, WI, and James Gigl of Columbus, WI; her 11 grandchildren, David, Paul, Mark, Amber, Megan, Jacob, Nicole, Jonathon, James, Anthony, and Chad; her 15 great-grandchildren; her 2 great-great grandchildren; and her 2 siblings, Judy Berthold (Walter Maichle) of Milwaukee, WI, and Sandy Porter of Menomonee Falls, WI; and friend, Bob porter of Milwaukee, WI. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Paul Gigl, and her siblings, Bev Koput and Ron Dreblow and her brother-in-law, Bill Porter

The family would like to thank Marquardt Hospice, their aides and nurses, Rev. Ray Bezanson, and Robin Geneman

The family also wishes to extend a special thank you to Nancy Dampier, whose loving care allowed Pat to spend her last days in the comfort of her own home. Nancy gave much of herself to care for Pat and keep her comfortable and was known as Pat’s “bonus daughter”. Her time and love are greatly appreciated and we will always remember her for being there.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30AM on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Palmyra, WI (320 W. Main St. Palmyra, WI 53156). Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Rev. Ray Bezanson will officiate the service.
