Richard E. Congdon

Richard E. Congdon, 81, of Palmyra, WI passed away peacefully on the morning of  Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Rainbow Hospice Center in Johnson Creek.

Richard was born at home on the family farm on March 24, 1943 the son of Ernest and Ruth (Frodl) Congdon. Richard grew up in Palmyra with his four siblings and after his schooling, began working on the family farm. He would continue working there eventually owning and operating the dairy farm for most of his life. Richard was quiet and capable. He got up before the sunrise and worked until after sunset most days of his life and he was happy to do it. He was a good man and will be sincerely missed by those he leaves behind.

Richard is survived by a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his four siblings, William, Mary Lou, David and Catherine.

Richard will be laid to rest in Skoponong Cemetery of Palmyra during a private family service.
