Richard A. Madish, 82, of Oak Creek, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Francisca Villa of South Milwaukee.
Richard was born on October 9, 1943 in Milwaukee the son of Frank Madish and Margaret Suchomel. He grew up in the Milwaukee area and after his schooling, went to work at a shoe store. While working there, he met his future wife, Susan Schmid while she working as a waitress in local restaurant. Richard and Susan were blessed with a son, Rich. Richard worked at Maynard Steel for the majority of his working career. He enjoyed his work and took pride in providing for his family. Richard will be remembered for his kind and outgoing personality. He loved to chat with friends and neighbors and was a friend to all. He was also an avid collector and enjoyed his trinkets and treasures. He will be missed by those he leaves behind.
Richard is survived by: his son, Richard (Janelle Boettcher) Madish of Eagle; his grandchildren, Devin and Jack; and his great-grandchildren, Remi and Travis.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife Susan.
Per Richard’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
