Richard "Rick" Mancuso Obituary

Richard J. Mancuso, 70, of Oconomowoc, WI, left his earthly home for Heaven on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Froedtert Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Rick was born on September 11, 1954 in Racine the son of Salvatore “Gus” and Stephanie “Stevie” (Puchinsky) Mancuso. He grew up in the Racine area and attended St. Catherine’s Catholic High School of Racine. During Rick’s junior year of high school, he met a young lady named Julie Feest. Julie and Rick would begin dating and would later marry on August 27, 1977 at St. Edwards Catholic Church of Racine. God blessed Rick and Julie with four loving children, Matthew, Lauren, Dana and Tony. Rick worked in a few different capacities during his life. He was good with his hands, and a competent worker, but where Rick truly set himself apart was his social skills and charisma. Rick never met a stranger; he was everybody’s friend. He had a special way to connect with people. If you met Rick, you immediately liked him. He paid attention to people and made them feel at ease and welcome. One of Rick’s favorite jobs was working as a ranger for the Pewaukee Golf Club. Affectionately known on the course as “Ranger Rick” by his co-workers and regulars, Rick loved to interact with all of the golfers and spread joy and laughter on the course. He also worked for the Boucher Dealership of Waukesha and greatly enjoyed his time there making new friends and positively impacting those around him. Above all else in Rick’s life was his love for the Lord. He was sincere in his Christian faith and lived in a way that showed the love of Christ to others. Rick was a wonderful husband and devoted father and grandfather. He attended countless sporting events, programs, and all sorts of activities to support his children and grandchildren and did so with a smile. For leisure, he enjoyed music, dancing, and being outdoors. Rick was an avid golfer and fisherman and made many great memories on the course and on the water. Rick will be dearly missed, but his family takes comfort that he is safe in Heaven with his Savior.

He is survived by: his loving wife of 47 years, Julie Mancuso of Oconomowoc; his four dear children, Matthew (Maureen) Mancuso of Pewaukee, Lauren (Michael) Monfeli of Pewaukee, Dana (Randy) Dankert of West Bend, and Tony (David Klevgard) Mancuso of Milwaukee; his grandchildren, Ethan, Elise, Evelyn, Teagan, Claire, Riley, Gianna, and Josephine; his brother, David (Dona) Mancuso of Racine, his siblings-in-law, Randy Stein of Racine, Wayne (Margo) Feest of Carmel, IN, Glenn (Heidi) Feest of Portland, OR, and Lisa (John) Wiesner of Oconomowoc; and his mother-in-law, Bernice Feest. Rick is further survived by a number of nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Jane Stein, his sister-in-law Julie Feest, and his father-in-law, William Feest.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Rick's honor may be made to his family.
